Girls' football at White Hills

A real pathway for girls — from Under 9 mixed footy through to Under 15 Girls. Find out where your daughter plays this season, and what we're doing to grow girls' footy.

For mums, dads & daughters

Footy is for girls, too

Girls' football is the fastest-growing part of our game, and White Hills is right behind it. Whether your daughter has played before or has never touched a Sherrin, there's a welcoming place for her here.

The girls' pathway

Under 9 — Mixed

Girls start alongside the boys in our two mixed U9 sides. It's the entry point for everyone and a brilliant, low-pressure first taste of footy.

Under 12 Girls

A dedicated girls-only team where they build real skills, confidence and friendships in a supportive environment.

Under 15 Girls

Girls' footy as players mature, and a springboard toward youth-girls and senior women's football.

"What happens to my 13–14 year-old daughter this year?"

It's the question we get most. Our current girls' teams are U12 Girls and U15 Girls, so there's a gap at U13–U14. Here's the honest answer on where a girl that age plays in 2026, and the options available to her:

[CONFIRM: the club's actual answer for girls aged 13–14 — e.g. play up in U15 Girls, play in a mixed/boys bracket, a BJFL combined-team arrangement, or a regional youth-girls option. Give parents a clear, specific path.]

If your daughter is in that age range, please get in touch — we'll talk you through her options personally and make sure she gets a game.

New to footy?

Heaps of our girls had never played before they started. Come to a Come & Try session, borrow the gear, and see if she likes it — no pressure, no commitment.

Is it safe and welcoming?

Absolutely. Female-friendly facilities, screened coaches and a culture where every girl belongs. Read our child safety commitment.
