Child safety is our priority

White Hills JFC is committed to being a Child Safe organisation. Every child has the right to feel safe, respected and valued at our club. Here's how we make that real.

Our commitment. White Hills Junior Football Club has zero tolerance for child abuse or harm of any kind. We are committed to the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children and young people, in line with the Victorian Child Safe Standards. Protecting children is everyone's responsibility at our club.

How we keep kids safe

  • All coaches, committee and volunteers in child-related roles hold a valid Working with Children Check.
  • Coaches and officials follow the AFL and club Codes of Conduct.
  • A nominated Child Safety Officer oversees our practices and handles concerns.
  • Clear procedures for raising, recording and responding to any concern.
  • We listen to children and take their views seriously.
