Age groups & teams
White Hills fields 10 teams in the BJFL for 2026 — from Under 9 right through to Under 16, for boys and girls. Find where your child fits.
How placement works. Children are generally placed by their age as at the start of the season. Under 9 is mixed and is the shared entry point for boys and girls. From Under 12, older brackets are graded (A/B/C/D) so kids play with others of similar experience.
⚑ To confirm: how children who fall between brackets (e.g. U10 / U11, or U13) are placed for the season.
Mixed — the entry point
Under 9
Under 9 is where it all begins — and it's mixed, so it's the entry point for both boys and girls. The focus is fun, fundamentals and plenty of touches of the ball. We field two U9 sides.

At Under 12 the game grows up a little. Boys play in graded sides and girls have their own dedicated team.
